“Kirby Saunders, principal of Saunders Building Company, won the competitive tender for a residence of our design on the Sunshine Coast. During the period 2015-2016 the project was successfully completed to the satisfaction of the owners and the contract administrator, who was also the architect named here. The site was extremely difficult, the design was detailed and non-standard, and the clients were very particular and continued to make preferential changes during the construction period. Kirby was responsive and professional to these challenges and his high level of communication was integral to achieving a polished product, on time and budget. Our experience working with Kirby and his team was such that we would be pleased to offer him more tenders, and to have confidence that he will deliver the product with a minimum of disruption, and can accommodate the usual unexpected circumstances along the way.
